We are a multidisciplinary group of professionals interested in advocating for patients with the disease of obesity and improving healthcare to include vulnerable populations in Iowa and the nation.

Collaboration throughout the state of Iowa with in person meetings, virtual meetings, educational presentations from experts on obesity medicine, sharing best practices, and reviewing case studies.

Mission

To promote evidence-based quality care including treatment and advocacy for patients with obesity throughout the state of Iowa by networking with experts, sharing best practices, and educating the medical community and public about the disease of obesity.
